Sarah said...

"So, Warren has some psycho chick after him." I giggled as I dipped a french fry in some ranch dressing.
"I can't beleive you do that. It's so gross." Warren said looking at me.
"You dip yours in ice cream." I said.
Spence laughed at us. "French Fries only belong in ketchup." He said. "Now who's the psycho?"
Warren rolled his eyes. "She's just weird." He answered.
"She gave him a lock of her hair." I said.
"And why exactly?" Spence asked laughing.
"Because she's psycho." I said.
"What did you do with it?" Spence asked him.
"Tossed it." Warren said taking a big bite of his burger.
"Well, that's not very nice." Spence said laughing.
"Fuck off." Warren said.
We all laughed. We finished up our food at the diner and went back to the store. Spence hung out for a few minutes, then went back to his shop.
"So, you really like that guy hu?" Warren said.
I nodded. "Call him Spence."
"Okay. Spence. You really like him, hu?"
"Yeah."
"Well, then I'm happy for you." He said.
I smiled. "Good."
He nodded and went to the back. I went back outside and window shopped. I was bored and tired. There wasn't really much to do at the store. "Hey, Lola!" I heard a girl shout. I turned around and it was Carmen. I kept walking faster and faster. I did not want to talk to her. "Lola!" She yelled. I stopped and turned around. She ran up to me.
"Hey. Why didn't you tell me Oz was such a jerk?" She asked with anger.
"What?"
"He doesn't like me." She said.
"I could have told you that." I said being a smart ass.
"Excuse me?"
"I already knew he didn't like you." I said.
"That's nice. Real nice." She said rudly. She stormed off.
I rolled my eyes and walked back to the store. Oz was standing near the door. I sighed and walked passed him.
"Lola, please talk to me." He said.
"What?" I asked frustrated as I turned toward him.
"Forgive me." He said.
"I can't."
"Why?"
"Not yet. I can't." I said.
"Fine." He said, then left the store.
I felt like punching the wall. I was so frustrated! I went to the back and layed back onto the couch.
"What's wrong?" Warren asked.
"My two ex best friends are evil." I said.
He laughed. "Evil?"
"They don't know how to treat their friends with respect." I said.
"Well, I do."
"Do you?" I asked.
"Do I sence a little sarcasm?" He asked.
"You slept with me." I said.
He laughed. "So, we made a mistake." He said.
"You knew. You knew it was me. How could you not?" I said.
He just stood there looking at me.
"It's okay." I said. "It worked out for the best."
He just nodded and walked outside to the delivery area.
