I yawned as I sat up. I looked around. I quickly wrapped the sheet around me. I went straight to the bathroom and turned on the shower. I sighed as I stepped in. I took a long shower and thought about a lot of things. Mainly, Oz. I tried to figure out what I felt for him, but I couldn't see him as more than a friend. Then for a second, I could see us as a happy couple. I rolled my eyes and tried not to think about it. I went back to my bedroom and got dressed. I didn't really have to get into work until noon, so I figured I could grab an early lunch with Oz before I went in to work so we could talk. I went out to the kitchen to find something to eat. There was a note on the Fridge from Oz saying he was out getting donuts for us. "How sweet." I said as I took the note off the fridge and threw it away. I layed down on the couch and thought some more in silence. "Hey." Oz said as he walked in. He set down the box of donuts on the coffee table in front of me. I sat up. He sat down next to me and opened the box. "Thanks." I said. "You're very welcome." He said. I grabbed a donut. He turned on some cartoon. I started laughing. I kept thinking about us having sex. "What?" He asked. "Do you have a problem with Mighty Mouse?" "NO!" I said laughing. "That's right." He said. I couldn't stop laughing. "You're weird." He said. I just shook my head as I took a bite of my donut. I couldn't help but wonder if he didn't remember it or if he just didn't feel comfortable talking about it. I decided to wait for him to bring it up or maybe make another move. We watched cartoons for a little while and I thought about it and laughed again. I got up and put the leftover donuts on the counter in the kitchen. I got myself a bottle of water and went back out to the living room. "Well." He sighed. "I have to get going." "Work?" I asked. "Yup." "Have fun." I said. "I will. See ya later." He said. He grabbed his coat and left. I started laughing again. I got ready for work and headed out.
As I sat there behind the register with Rachel, I couldn't stop thinking about Oz and laughing. "What is so funny?" She asked. "Nothing." I said. I was able to contain myself the rest of the day, but I wasn't sure how it would be when I got back home. On the way, my stomach felt all tingly as I thought about it. I felt all nervous and could not stop laughing. I took a deep breath and walked inside.
