I woke up the next morning in Warren's bed. I could hear him blasting 311. I climbed out of bed and went straight to the bathroom to freshen up. When I felt I looked decent enough, I went out to the living room. He was just laying down on the couch listening to the music.
"Good morning. How did you sleep?" He asked.
"Good." I said smiling.
I walked over to the couch and he pulled me on top of him so my back was against him.
"Whoa." He laughed.
"What?" I asked.
"Maybe you should get up." He said letting go of me. "You're exciting my private area."
"What?" I jumped up laughing. "Your private area?"
"I was trying not to sound dirty or innapropriate." He said.
"Dork." I said.
"Mind if I take a quick shower?" He asked.
"Go right ahead." I said laughing and hold out my hands.
"Or you could give me some lovin'." He said.
"Not a chance. Go take a shower." I said.
He laughed. "Okay."
I sat down on his couch and layed there while he took a shower. All I could think about was Oz. I felt he was being so unreasonable and it still seemed like he was puting most of the blame on me. I was still totally crushed. I was very grateful for my friends. Well, all but Carmen, but I didn't consider her a friend anymore. When Warren got out of the shower, I had him take me home. When I walked up to my door, Mrs. Ray was standing outside hers. She looked very angry. I just smiled at her. "Profanity should not come out of a lady." She said rudly, then stormed back into her apartment. I flipped her off. Well, her door anyway. I went inside and tried to think of something to do to keep myself busy. I hated feeling so lonely. I decided to cook myself a nice lunch. There was a knock on my door. "Great." I said. "Probably Mrs. Ray to yell at me."
I walked over to the door and opened it. It was Spencer. "Oh thank god. I was afraid you were Mrs. Ray." I said. He walked in and I closed the door.
"I was just about to make some lunch." I said.
"Want some help?" He asked.
"Sure." I said smiling.
We started pulling food out of the freezer and trying to put a good meal together. I put on my apron and he laughed at me. We decided to make chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn and rice. We started preparing the food and joking around. He started singing silly childrens songs as he chopped up the potatos. It made me laugh. It took us two hours to have it all made. We took our time. We had a lot of food though and it made us laugh!
"We cooked for like 10 people!" He said looking at all the potatos.
"You cut them nerd!" I said laughing.
We set up plates for ourselves and sat down at the small table I had. I couldn't even remember the last time I sat at it. He lit a candle at the middle of the table.
"Aww." I said smiling.
"You needed something special. You deserve it." He said.
