"Why am I so tired?" Chris asked yawning. I yawned. "You're making me yawn." I giggled. "You'll probably be ready for bed early hu?" He asked. I nodded. "Probably." He put his arm around me and I rested my head on his shoulder. He kissed the top of my head. "I didn't realize how much I missed you until now." He said softly. "Same goes for me." I said. "Really?" "Yeah." I smiled. I looked up at him and he turned towards me. He leaned down and I started kissing him. He slowly leaned over and layed down, pulling me on top of him. He put his arms around me and continued to kiss me. I couldn't beleive what I was doing. He reached down and pulled my shirt off over my head. I sat up. "Are you okay?" He asked puting his hands on my legs. "This is just kind of crazy." I said softly. "It's up to you, Lola." He said. I grabbed my shirt and jumped off of him. "I can't do this." I said. I went to the spare room and closed the door behind me. I locked it. I layed down on the bed. "You can't fall for him again. He doesn't even live in the same state, you idiot." I told myself. There was a knock on the door. "Lola? Can we talk?" I heard Chris say. I got up and opened the door. We stared deep into eachothers eyes. "I'm sorry, I can't." I said, then stepped closer to him. I started kissing him again. We stepped closer to the bed as we kissed, then fell back onto it. Before we knew it, we were having sex. I was sweating like crazy. When we were done, we just kind of layed there in an awkward silence. He sat up and pulled his boxers on. "I'm gonna take a shower." He said. "Me too." I said covering my breasts with my shirt. He picked up his shorts and t-shirt, then looked at me. I smiled and he smiled back. He left the room. I grabbed my towel and ran to the bathroom. I took a long cool shower. It felt great. "Smith's on Fifth Ave?" Chris asked when I walked into the kitchen. "Dave's band is playing there tonight." "Hmm." "So, either a nice peaceful night in my house alone. . . or a nice loud night out with me." He said smiling. "I'll go out." I said. "Cool." He said. He finished getting ready and we headed out to the show. I said I would drive, since I didn't feel like drinking. I ordered a water from the bar when we walked into the club. I sat down at a table. Chris walked away and mingled a little. I use to get frustrated when he did that to me, but it wasn't really bothering me as much this time since I wasn't his girlfriend. The first band started to play and place packed up quickly. I looked around for Chris and didn't see him. After about fifteen minutes, I spotted him talking to some guy. He looked at me and held up one finger. I nodded. A few minutes later, he came back and sat down next to me. "Sorry about that." I said loudly over the music. "It's okay." I said smiling.
