I got to Oz's, and the door was unlocked. I walked in and heard Oz playing his guitar in his room. I was impressed with how much better he sounded. I froze halfway down the hall way when I realized what song it was.

"Tell me what it's like to be with you Remind me of the things we use to do And tell me that this time will never end Tell me what it's like, tell me again

Everytime you stay
It never feels quite the same
And everytime you go
It hurts a way you'll never know"

He stopped there when he messed up one of the notes. He sighed, and then continued playing, pick up the verse where he left off.

"I guess your stories Make me feel like it's alright now Tell me what it's like to be with you Remind me of the things we used to do And tell me that this time will never end Tell me what it's like, tell me again

Everything I fear Shows itself everytime you're here And everything I know Leaves with you everytime that you go" He stopped again. He hadn't messed up though. I think he was having trouble remembering the lyrics. It was one of my favorite Goldfinger songs, so when he starte agian, I walked in the room singing too.

"I wish your stories Could erase all the things that I said
So tell me what it's like to be with you-" He smiled. "Remind me of the things we use to do
And tell me that this time will never end Tell me what it's like, tell me again." I sang the response after he sang the verse on the last part.
"You look that way (You look that way)Don't wanna see you look that way. You talk that way (You talk that way)Don't wanna feel this way." He stopped singing and let me finish.
"So tell me what it's like to be with you Remind me of the things we use to do And tell me that this time will never end Tell me what it's like, tell me again."
He set his guitar down.
"Someone had been practicing." I said.
"Yeah." He said, and smiled.
"I got a condo lined up. I'm just waiting to sign the papers." I told him.
"Cool." He said, and layed back on the bed.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
"Yeah. I guess." He said. I'm not used to your room not smelling like pot." I said, and he laughed.
"I quit." He said.
"You quit?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said. It didn't sound like he was in much of a mood to discus it.
"Want to watch Encino Man?" I asked him.
"No." He said.
"Oh. Want me to leave you alone?" I asked.
"No. That is the last thing I want." He sighed. He was making me feel kind of awkward.
"I can stay somewhere else if this is making you feel uncomfortable." I said. He just shrugged. I felt hurt. It was like he didn't care if I was there or not.
"Oz! If you don't want me here, then say so." I said.
"I do. But it's hard." He said.
"I'll stay with Ange and Terrance." I said, getting up, and storming out of the apartment. I sat down on the steps and called Terrance. He didn't answer, so I called Ange. No answer.
"Mother-" I stopped the curse when I saw a little kid riding his bike near by.
I called Spence.
"Hey." I said.
"Whats wrong?" He asked.
"Can you come pick me up? I'm going to be staying with Terrance and Ange, but I can't get a hold of them. I was wondering if I could hang out with you for a while." I said.
"Yeah, sure." He said, and hung up a minute later. I walked out and sat on a curb in the parking lot. I was kind of pissed Oz hadn't bothered to even come out. Spence pulled up and I got in his car.
"Do you need your stuff?" He asked.
"It's not even mine!" I said, and started crying. He put his hand on my leg.
"I'm sorry. I don't care. I can borrow Ange's things. I just wanted away from Spence." I told him. He squeezed my leg and then drove us to his house.
