As he reached up my shirt and started to pull it up, I stopped him. "I'm sorry." I said sitting up. "Should we be doing this?" He got a dissapointed look on his face and shrugged his shoulders. "Let's wait." I said. He sat up. "Okay. Sorry. I didn't mean to like rush into it. . ." "It's okay." I said smiling. He hugged me. As much as I wanted to sleep with him, I didn't want to screw with either of our heads. We were both going through our own shit and neither of us needed more to worry about. "Friends for now?" I asked. "Yeah." He said softly. I let go of him. He sat down on the recliner and I sat down in front of him between his legs. He put his arms around me and we watched tv for a little while. We both fell asleep that way. We woke up a few hours later and decided to go get something to eat. We went to The Cookie Corner since it was closeby and we knew it was good. "Well, hello!" Cookie said smiling. "Hi." I said. "Hey, I've seen you in here." She said to Spencer. He smiled. "I saw your Oz a couple minutes ago." She said smiling at me. I smiled back, but didn't say anything. We each got a strawberry danish and a coffee. He grabbed the local newspaper and we sat down at a table. As he read the paper, I just watched people walk by through the window as I sipped my coffee. I picked at my danish a little, but I didn't feel like eating much. "A bag sweetie?" Cookie asked pointing to my danish. "Yeah, thanks." I said smiling. She walked away, then came back with a bag. I put the rest of my danish in it. "Not hungry?" Spencer asked. "Not really." I said. We sat there for about another half hour, then walked back to my apartment. "I need a roommate." I said. He put his arm around me and we sat back onto the couch. "Ask around at work." He said. "I will." I said. "Good." He said. I smiled. "More tv? Feel like being lazy?" He asked. "Yeah." I laughed. We layed down and I turned on the tv again. My phone rang, but I ignored it. It rang again. "Damnit." I said getting up. I answered it. It was Warren. "Just seeing how you're doing." He said. "I'm good. Just relaxing today." I said. "Good. You should take it easy." He said. "I am." "Do you wanna grab dinner later? I can pick you up." He said. "Sure. That sounds good." I said. "Okay, cool. How is seven?" He asked. "Perfect." I said. "Okay, See you then." He said. "Bye." I said. I hung up the phone. "Warren's taking me to dinner." I said. "Cool." He said. "I gotta get going around six or so anyway." "Yay!" I giggled. "I won't have to be alone all day!" He laughed. "Good."
