I woke up the next morning to a dog barking loudly near the bedroom door.
"Russy! Shut the fuck up!" I heard Chris shout. I heard him open his bedroom door. I got up and peaked out.
"Sorry." He said as he let the dog into his room.
"It's okay." I said yawning.
He smiled. "I'm gonna take a shower." He went back into his room. I grabbed my shampoo and went to the bathroom. I took a quick shower and went back to the spare room. I got dressed and ready for the day. I layed back down in the bed for a few minutes. I could hear the bird chirping outside and the bright sun was shining through the window. I smiled. I went out to the kitchen and Chris was pouring a glass of milk. "You want some?" He asked.
I nodded smiling and sat down on one of the barstools in front of the kitchen counter. He set the glass down in front of me and poured himself a glass. "Oz went for a walk." He told me.
I laughed. "Where to?"
"Just through the neighborhood." He said. "Are you still obsessed with nachos?" He laughed.
"Yes. I havn't had some really good ones for a while though." I said.
"Okay then. Tuck's Grill it is." He said grabbing his wallet and puting it in his pocket.
"What about Oz?" I asked. I laughed. "And it's breakfast time."
"When has that ever stopped you from getting Nachos?" He asked.
I laughed. "I eat healthier now."
"You're on vacation." He said.
Oz walked into the house.
"Tucks?" Chris asked him.
"Hell yeah." Oz said.
I rolled my eyes and Chris looked at me.
"Okay, okay." I said.
"Tell her she's on vacation and she can eat whatever the hell she wants." Chris said.
"You're on vacation and you can eat whatever the hell you want." Oz told me.
I laughed.
I grabbed my purse and Chris drove us to Tuck's. "Everyone still hang out here?" I asked.
"Yup." He said poiting behind me.
I turned around. "Oh my god." I said turning back around quickly. "Johnny Bison." I giggled.
Oz and Chris laughed.
"Oh my god." I said.
"You're acting like you're still in high school and you still have a crush on him." Chris said.
"Maybe I do. He looks even better now." I said softly.
"Hey, Johnny!" Chris shouted.
"Shut up." I whispered loudly as I pushed him.
"Oh hey guys." I heard Johnny say. Within seconds, he was standing by our table.
"Oz." Johnny said. "And I'm sorry. I don't think we've met." He said looking at me.
"She went Central High too." Chris said.
"Hmm." Johnny said looking confused.
"I was on the swim team." I said. "All four years."
"Oh!" Johnny said. "Right. You were the one that one first place every year."
"No." I said feeling really stupid. "I got third every year. . ."
"Lola." He said. "Lola. Your name is Lola. You were in my Calculous Class and you would always talk to that smelly guy. What was his name?"
"Richy. . ." I said.
He laughed. "That's right. Raunchy Richy."
"Yeah." I said softly.
"You guys wanna grab a beer with us tonight?" He asked.
"Yeah, we could do that." Oz said.
I sighed and Oz looked at me. He smiled and I gave him a dirty look.
"Alright. See ya at Famous Sams." He said. "Seven." He gave Oz and Chris a high five, then left the table.
"Jerk." I said under my breath.
"Johnny is the funniest guy I've ever met." Oz said. "And you love him."
"Shut up." I said.
