When I looked up at Warren and smiled, it looked like he was going to kiss me. Then he laughed.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing. I'll be good." he said.
"You, be good?" I asked.
"Yeah, hard to believe, isn't it?" He asked, and I laughed.
"Get some sleep." He said, and kissed me cheek. I kind of didn't want him to be good, but I figured if Warren of all people thought it was a bad idea to sleep together right then, I figured he was probably right. I was tired anyway and it didn't take me long to get to sleep. Warren woke me up several hours later. He was kneeling at the side of the bed.
"Hey, Oz is here." He said.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Oz. To pick you up." He said.
"Oh. Yeah." I said, and yawned. I got up, gathered my things and set them on his bed. Then I turned to him and hugged him.
"I'll see you later. Call me tomorrow, okay." He said. I nodded, then leaned up and kissed him.
"Thanks. For everything." I said.
"Of course. What are friends for?" He asked. I just smiled, and then he helped me carry my things. Oz was standing out of the living room and took all the stuff I was holding from me. I followed Oz and Warren out of the apartment and down to Oz's car. We loaded it up, and I was saddened by the fact that the only possessions to my name were borrowed, and didn't even fill up the back of his el camino. I sighed.
"Bye you guys." Warren said. He looked a little awkward seeing Oz. I said goodbye and Oz drove me to the place he was staying at. We didn't say much. When we got there we just brought my stuff up to his room and went right to bed. I just slept with Oz that night, feeling more comfortable with him then I would have alone.

When the next morning came I freaked out when I woke up and Oz wasn't there. I felt silly, but I went running out of the room, and into some guy coming out of the bathroom.
"What the fuck?" He shouted.
"Sorry!" I said.
"It's okay. Lola, right?" He asked. I nodded.
"Chuck. This is my apartment." He said. "Oz is in the kitchen."
"Thanks. I'm so sorry." I said again, feeling so embarassed.
"Hey, Oz told me about what happened. My girlfriend works at Dillards and gets a huge discount. I called her this morning and she said if you come by just go to HR and ask for Deb S. She'll give you discount on anything you need to buy." He said.
"Oh my god. Thanks!" I said. He just smiled, and walked to his room. I walked out to the kitchen and Oz was trying to figure out the coffee pot.
"Hey. I hate these damn things." He said.
"Here, let me." I told him, and walked over. I figured it out in no time.
"Come here." He said. I looked over at him.
"Come here." He said again. I walked over to him, and he wrapped his arms around me, and hugged me so tight I thought I would burst.
"I'm sorry I was an ass." He said. I hugged him tighter and started crying.
