Chapter Sixty-Seven

"So." I heard Kurt say.
He sat down on the side of the boat with me. I smiled at him.
"So." I said. I was looking out at the water. It was so nice out.
"Are you seeing anyone?" He asked.
"No, not really." I said.
"That's cool." He said.
I laughed. "Is it?"
"Yeah." He smiled and looked out. He was squinting and he looked really cute. "What brought you out here?" He asked after about a minute of silence.
"Just visiting my friends." I said smiling.
He nodded his head and looked at me. "Cool."
"And how often do you pick up on a group of chicks to go out on the boat with you?" I asked.
He laughed. "Pretty often. I won't lie to you."
"I see."
"It's not me that attracts the girls to us." He laughed. "It's them." He pointed to the rest of the guys.
"Now that's hard to beleive." I said.
"Lola!" April shouted. She sounded drunk. "Lola!"
I laughed and looked towards them. She started dancing silly and poking her butt out.
"Get your ass over here." Beth said motioning for me to join them.
I looked at Kurt and he stood up. He helped me up and we walked over to everyone else towards the back of the boat. April grabbed my hand and started dancing again. I took a huge sip of a beer that was sitting on a little table, then started dancing with her. "Your thong is hanging out." I heard one of them say. I looked up. Stacy jumped up and fell back onto me, knocking me over. Andy laughed and helped us up. She gave Andy a dirty look and walked to the edge of the boat with her arms crossed. I walked over to her. "I'm so uncomfortable." She said. "I gained like 20 pounds. I wanted to wear a swim suit. . ."
"Stacy, you look great." I told her. "You're crazy." I put my arm around her. "I just hate how I look."
"Did you bring a swim suit?" I asked her.
She nodded. I picked up her little duffle bag and grabbed her hand. She followed me towards the front of the boat. "You don't expect me to put it on, do you?" She said.
"Yes, I do. You look great." I said. "You have nothing to be worried about. Trust me."
She was wearing a long white flowy skirt and a white tank top. She looked really cute, but I could tell she was warm. She pulled her swim suit out of her bag. It was a white string bikini. "Put it on." I told her.
"My arms are so flabby." She said. "And my butt is huge."
"So!" I laughed. "A lot of guys like big butts."
I turned around. "Now put it on. Quickly."
She sighed. "Okay." She said softly.
When she finished changing, she put her skirt back on over her swim suit. "I'm not walking back over there with a binkin on." She said. She looked embarassed. I just laughed at her. "Aww Yay." April said smiling at Stacy. Stacy rolled her eyes.
"Time for the unveiling?" Beth asked.
Stacy laughed.
"Ooops." I said laughing. I had already been in my suit for a while. They all took their clothes off, so they were just in their swim suits. I noticed Sam and Kurt really checking out Stacy. She caught Sam looking at her and he looked away quickly. My eyes met Stacy's and we laughed. We all sat down with a beer and started chatting about relationships.
