Spence left a little after six, and I got ready to go out with Warren. I put on some green plaid capris, and a black tank top, and put my hair back in two ponytails. It was finaly long enough again. I kept looking at my nose ring while I did my make-up. I couldn't get over great it looked. I decided I was going to get a tattoo next. There was a knock at the door right at seven, and I ran to answer it. I opened it, and Oz was there.
"Oh. Hey." I said.
"Hey. I left my favorite hat here." He said.
"It's over there." I said, and pointed to his hat in the corner of the living room. I left it there after I threw it. He got a wierd look on his face then walked over and picked it up.
"Is that all you came over here for?" I asked.
"Yeah. I'll see you around." He said.
"You jerk." I said.
"What?" He asked, turning around.
"We were good friends for what, five years? We fucking lived together for 7 months, and you act like we hardy even knew each other." I said.
"Did you get your nose pierced?" He asked.
"YES! Don't change the subject." I told him.
"We need some time apart. To cool off." He said.
"BULLSHIT!" I told him.
"No, not bullshit! Okay. Just give me some time." He said, and opened the front door. Warren was there, just about to knock.
"Hey look, it's the guy you fucked!" Oz said, then left.
"UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I said, and flipped him off. He didn't see me though. Warren looked pissed, but thankfully he didn't say anything. Oz was a lot shorter, but I would have put my money on Oz if they got into a fight.
"Bastard." I said.
"I'm sorry." Warren said.
"It's not your fault he's a bastard." I told him.
"Lets go cheer ourselves up, come on." He said. I smiled and followed him out to his car. We went to a sports bar down town and each took a shot of Jaeger before we even ordered.
"Ahhhhhh!" Warren said, and slammed his glass down. "That does a body good."
"I needed that!" I told him. We ordered some food and a pitcher of beer, then walked over to play some darts while we waited.
"OH! BULLSEYE!" I shouted.
"AWWW! You fucking won! BULL. SHIT!" He said, and I laughed. I started to dance around him.
"I win, I win, I WIN!" I sang.
He laughed, and grabbed me, giving me a hug.
"Yeah, you won. Our foods here." He said.
"I won. I won. I won." I sang quietly as we walked back to the table. He kept trying not to laugh.
"I'm funny. And you know it! YEAH!" I sang as I sat down. He lost it.
"Told ya!" I said.
"Just eat yo damn pizza woman!" He said, and I started to laugh really loud. The guys at the pool table by us looked at me weird.
When we were done eating he drove me back home.
"Hey, I'll see you tomorrow." He said.
"Okay." I said, still sitting in his car.
"Bye." He said.
"Bye." I said.
"Are you okay Lola?" He asked, and laughed.
"I'm afraid of my apartment when I'm alone. It's scary." I said, and he laughed.
"Well, why didn't you say so." He said, and started his car.
"Where are we going?" I asked him.
"To my place. It's safe there." He said, and I laughed.
