I yawned and sat up. I realized we had slept half of the day when I looked at the clock. Oz pulled me down into his arms.
"Feel any better?" He asked.
"Not really." I giggled.
"Aww."
I smiled and turned towards him. I put my hand on his stomach and he took a deep breath. "You okay?" I asked. I layed my head down on his chest. "No." He said softly.
"Why?"
"You're teasing me." He said.
"Huh?" I asked lifting my head up.
"Lay back down." He said.
I smiled and layed my head back down. I fell asleep again for about a half hour. I woke up and Oz was just laying there awake.
"Should we head out to AJ to see your family?" He asked.
"No." I said. "Maybe tomorrow."
"Good idea. It's warm out. You'll feel even more miserable." He said.
We got up and I took a shower. I felt a little better. Chris left to put in a few hours at work, so Oz and I layed on the couch watch tv. Chris came home with Subway a few hours later, so we all ate together. I was enjoying Chris' company more than I thought I would. When we finished eating, Oz left to meet his sister for coffee. I looked at Chris and he smiled. My heart melted. I turned away quickly. "Do you want to just watch a movie?" He asked.
"Sure."
He laughed and got up. As he leaned down to look at the movies, his pants slid down a little.
"Army of Darkness?" He asked.
I laughed. "I guess."
"Awesome." He said. He put the dvd in and sat down next to me. He scooted a little closer. It made me start to feel a little nervous. I layed back and realized he had his arm behind me. He pulled me closer to him.
"We were great together until I screwed it up." He said.
"Yeah we were." I said smiling.
"Damn."
I giggled.
"You up for some fun?" He asked.
"What kind of fun?"
I looked at him and he smiled.
"You wish." I told him.
"It was worth a shot." He said.
"Deprived?" I asked.
"From sex. Very much." He said.
"Sorry." I said.
"I'm okay." He said.
I giggled. "The scary thing is, if I didn't feel so shitty, I may have been up for it."
"Really?" He asked.
"Yup. It's a good thing I won't be here too much longer. I'd be getting myself into trouble." I said.
He laughed. "Sleeping with me would be trouble?"
"Oh most definatly." I said.
"Trouble is fun sometimes." He said.
"Don't I know it!" I said laughing.
We layed there and watched the rest of the movie. He was laughing the whole time and making me laugh. I always had trouble getting into his silly movies, but I still had fun watching with him.
"Alright." He said stretching his legs out and yawning. I laughed.
"What?" I asked.
He turned off the movie.
"What now?" He asked. He sat back and started flipping through the channels.
"I don't know."
"Beer?" He asked.
"No!"
He laughed. "Oh right. Sorry."
I smiled and he put his arm around me. "Feeling any better yet?" He asked.
"Not really."
"I'm sorry." He said.
"It's okay. I haven't drank that much for a while." I said.
He sighed. "Well, if there is anything I can do, let me know."
I looked up at him and he smiled. He tapped me on the nose. "How about a walk?" He asked.
"I don't feel like removing myself from this couch." I said grogily.
He laughed. "Lay back. I'll cut us up some fruit and get you a big glass of water." He said. He got up and handed me the remote. "Whatever you want to watch is fine."
"You're cutting up fruit?" I asked.
"Unless you want something else. . ." He said.
I giggled. "Fruit is fine. Just never thought I'd here you say that."
He just shrugged and smiled. I changed the channel a few times and stopped at an I Love Lucy rerun. "He's even sweeter than he use to be." I said to myself as I watched him walk by with a big watermelon. I giggled. I layed my head down on the arm of the couch and sprawled out my legs. The dog came walking over to me and jumped onto the couch by my feet. He layed his head down on my leg.
"Hey, get down." Chris told him.
"It's okay." I said smiling. "He's not bugging me."
"You sure?" He asked.
I looked at the dog and he was looking at Chris with sad looking eyes.
"Aww. Yeah. He's fine." I said sitting up. I scooted over to him and started petting him.
"Let me know if you want to take a walk later. We can take him to the dog park. He loves to run around with the other dogs." He said from the kitchen.
"Okay!" I said.
