I was dreaming peacefully, until I heard a very loud pounding on my door. I jumped up. "EVACUATE!" I heard while the pounding got louder. "What?" I asked. I wrapped my blanket around me and opened the door slowly peaking out. I saw a Fireman. He grabbed my arm and pushed the door open. "Any animals inside?" He asked. I shook my head no. He pulled me out of my apartment. There were tons of people running, screaming, crying and freaking out. I was so confused. "What the hell is going on?" I asked getting upset. "A fire." A guy said. "Take her with you." The fireman told the guy. The guy lead me to the parking lot where tons of people were standing. All I had on was my black tank top and green panties under the blanket. I started to get really upset. "It's okay. Sit down." The guy said. He helped me sit down on the curb. "What's your name?" He asked. "Lola." I said starting to tear up. "I'm Paul." He said. He put his arm around me. "You'll be okay." "All my stuff is in there." I sobbed. "It's a good thing that it's a requirement here to get renters insurance." He said. I just nodded. I didn't even have my cell phone on me. I didn't know anyone's phone number by heart, besides my brothers and my parents. A Fireman ran towards us with a baby. The baby was screeming. All he had on was a diaper. "I need your blanket." He told me. "All I have on is underwear." I said upset. "Here." Paul said taking off his sweatshirt. He handed it to me. "My grandmother made this blanket." I sobbed. Paul took the sweatshirt from me and handed it to the Fireman. He looked irritated, but he took it anyway. He wrapped it around the baby and walked away. "Shit. This sucks so fucking bad." Paul said starting to look upset too. "That was my brother's Beatles sweatshirt." I looked up at him. "He is going to kill me." He said looking worried. He jumped up and ran towards the Fireman. I saw him take a blanket from a lady, then run behind the building. I looked down and started crying. A line of busses pulled up into the parking lot. "I think this whole complex is toast." I heard a police officer say. He walked over to me. "Get on this bus." He said pointing. "Is apartment 54B okay so far?" I asked him. "Um." He looked at the building numbers. "Yes, so far." "Any way I could get my purse?" I asked. "Stevens!" He shouted. A young police officer turned around. "Go to him." He said. I walked over to him quickly. "Can I get my purse out of 54B?" I asked. "Where is it?" He asked. "Oh the counter right next to the door. And can you grab my cell phone? It's sitting right next to it." I said. He nodded and walked over to a group of Fireman. I saw him point at me. One of them walked down the hall toward my apartment. I took a few steps back onto the curb where I was standing before. A few minutes later, the Fireman walked over to me with my purse. "Thank you so much." I said starting to cry again. "I put your cell in the purse." He said. "Good luck." He smiled. I just nodded and walked towards the busses. I was let on the second one. I had no idea where they were taking me and I was freaking out. I tried to call Spencer, but there was no answer. I tried to call Oz, but there was no answer. I tried to call Warren. After a few rings, he answered. I started babbling as I paniced. "Slow down, slow down." He said. "I can't help it!" I screamed. Several people looked at me. I curled up to the window next to me and started crying harder.
